Colleges and universities in our region have partnered with the business community to host a major recruiting event for you to explore full-time and part-time jobs and internships.  Over 140 employers were represented at Recruit Westchester 2013 from local and national companies and non-profits.

Available on-site.  Overflow parking will be marked and easily identifiable. The Westchester County Association and the Westchester Hilton are not responsible for parking violations incurred outside of marked event parking areas.

Job & Internship Fair Preparation: 
  • Dress is business attire – see below for suggestions
  • Bring plenty of copies of a recent resume; you will need to turn in one copy as your ticket into the event
  • Research participating employers beforehand
  • Bring a photo ID (school ID preferred for students)
  • Contact your Career Services office with any additional questions and for additional preparation tips

Suit  Two piece suit, ideal is solid navy or grey)  Solid/ pinstripe in  black/navy/grey (skirt-suit or pantsuit)
Shirt and Blouse  Solid white or blue shirt  White or pastel blouse
Accessories

Shoes – Black or brown, non-athletic

Belt - Should match shoes in color

Tie – Conservative pattern/color

Socks – Should match pants in color (no white or athletic socks!)

• Piercings - not recommended

• Shoes – Dark leather pumps are ideal; Open toed shoes/Sandals are not appropriate!

• Jewelry – Should be subtle and minimal
